“Wicked” 2024 is a musical masterpiece that i enjoyed so much. I have seen it three times now, and i am just so happy I could MELT! If you love musical theatre, the Wizard of Oz, or are a fan of anyone in the cast (especially Ariana Grande), you would really have fun with this movie.
Even if you are not a musical fan, the story alone should capture your heart. The Broadway show has been running for years for a reason. The performances in this movie are so good and can surprise you, especially the lead and supporting actors. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo bring so much passion and power to their roles as Glinda and Elphaba. Their singing is incredible, and the chemistry between them is insane. They make you feel everything they feel, and it’s just beautiful.
One thing that stand out is that this movie am not shy about being a musical. It feels real, authentic, and unapologetic, which make the whole experience even better. The acting, singing, dancing, costumes, and lighting are all top-notch. You can feel the love and commitment that went into making this adaptation of “Wicked.”
